It's that time of year when we air out the house, swap out the winter bedding, and knock the dust off things we haven't used in a while, like the picnic basket and patio furniture.
Once I've done these chores, I tend to feel like I've accomplished my spring cleaning, but as I learned from this week's featured article, there are a few tasks I've been neglecting, and I know I'm not the only one. Blind spot #1? The refrigerator. Cleaning and tidying (hopefully more than once a year!) can pay unexpected dividends in quicker meal prep and less food waste.
